Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shenango nips Laurel

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Shenango Wildcats basketball team scored a close 50-46 win over the Laurel Spartans.
The Wildcats (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Scotties come into the WPIAL 2A 4 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Union Area was tipped by Neshannock (New Castle, PA), 63-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Laurel will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 68-46 league loss to South Side (Hookstown, PA).
