In Friday's league test, the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA), by a final score of 61-21.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Shenango will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 62-55 non-league win over Erie (Erie, PA).

The Spartans (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 1-6 record.
