The Lowry Buckaroos basketball squad (Winnemucca, NV), was outscored 69-50 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV)

With the victory, Spring Creek advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to meet the Greenwave in a 3A Northern - East battle on Saturday, January 25. The Greenwave enter the battle with a record of 12-8. Churchill County won 67-20 in their recent non-league battle against Sage Ridge (Reno, NV)

The Buckaroos now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elko for a 3A Northern - East battle on Saturday, January 25. Lowry will meet a Indians squad coming off a 48-35 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Indians record now stands at 7-10.
