In Tuesday's league test, the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), by a score of 65-53.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a 3A Northern - East test, on Friday, January 10. Spring Creek will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Dust Devils come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 54-30 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).
