In Friday's league test, the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) basketball squad got by the host T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC), by a score of 69-66.

Next, the Titans clash with the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a 3A/4A Mountain test, on Friday, January 31. McDowell will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record.
