The Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT) basketball edged the host Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT), 59-58 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Minutemen now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodstock for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 28. Mill River will face a Wasps squad coming off a 57-46 league win over Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Wasps record now stands at 8-5.
The Blue Devils (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Minutemen enter the Southern Vermont - C outing with a 2-12 record.
