The Mill River Minutemen basketball squad (North Clarendon, VT), was crushed 68-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT)
With the victory, Poultney advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT) to meet the Phoenix in a Southern Vermont - D battle on Friday, February 7. The Phoenix enter the battle with a record of 0-14.
The Minutemen now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long Trail for a Southern Vermont - D battle on Tuesday, February 4. Mill River will meet a squad coming off a 43-31 non-league loss to Green Mountain (Chester, VT). The record now stands at 4-8.
