Mississippi High School Basketball - Neshoba Central holds off Vicksburg

The Neshoba Central Rockets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Vicksburg Gators to 49 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.
The Rockets now have a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Callaway for a 6A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. Neshoba Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 88-66 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 9-15.
With the loss, Vicksburg falls to 11-13 on the campaign. The Gators host Columbus (Columbus, MS) to confront the Falcons in a 6A Region 2 game on Saturday, January 25. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 17-3. Columbus won 67-57 in their recent league game against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS)
