The Borden County Coyotes bounced the host Sands Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 42-19 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Coyotes clash with the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Borden County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 14-14 record after their 48-24 league win over Loop (Loop, TX).

The Mustangs (16-12) will now prepare for their outing against Grady (Lenorah, TX). The Wildcats come into the 1A Region I District 6 outing with a 11-13 record. In their last outing, Grady routed Dawson (Welch, TX), 57-12, in a league outing.
