Michigan High School Basketball - Calumet fells Escanaba

The Calumet Copper Kings basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Escanaba Eskymos to 40 in the Copper Kings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Copper Kings now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chassell for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Calumet will confront a Panthers team coming off a 64-25 league loss to Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Escanaba falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Eskymos travel to Houghton (Houghton, MI) to confront the Gremlins in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Gremlins go into the game with a record of 10-3.
