Michigan High School Basketball - Escanaba beaten by Calumet

The Calumet Copper Kings were victorious over the host Escanaba Eskymos basketball squad by a final score of 58-40 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Copper Kings clash with the Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI) in a Western Peninsula outing, on Monday, February 10. Calumet will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Gremlins enter the outing with a 12-4 record after their 44-41 league loss to Hancock (Hancock, MI).

The Eskymos (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Braves enter the Great Northern U.P. outing with a 14-1 record. In their last outing, Gladstone ran past Menominee (Menominee, MI), 61-25, in a league outing.
