The East Coweta Indians basketball squad (Sharpsburg, GA), was crushed 69-21 in Friday's league battle with the host Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA)

With the victory, Carrollton advances its record to 15-6 on the year. The Trojans host Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 17-1. Langston Hughes won 66-60 in their recent non-league battle against St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA)

The Indians now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a AAAAAA Region 2 battle on Saturday, January 25. East Coweta will meet a Lions squad coming off a 58-37 non-league loss to Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Lions record now stands at 11-8.
