Nebraska High School Basketball - Chase County nips Hershey

January 24, 2025: Imperial, NE 69033

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) and the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), observed Chase County's basketball team edge Hershey by a margin of 58-54.

The Longhorns (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, Bridgeport edged St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE), 68-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Hershey will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 48-37 non-league win over Kimball (Kimball, NE).
