North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY), 68-20 in a league match.
With the victory, North Laurel advances its record to 16-0 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Harlan (Harlan, KY) to face the Green Dragons in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Green Dragons enter the match with a record of 7-8. Harlan won 74-49 in their recent league match against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY)
The Tigers now own a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wolfe County for a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. Clay County will face a Wolves squad coming off a 74-43 non-league win over Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Wolves record now stands at 9-5.
