The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI) and the host Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI), observed Cuba City's basketball team overwhelm Iowa-Grant by a score of 92-28.

The Cubans (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverdale (Muscoda, WI). The Chieftains come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge with a 10-6 record.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Lancaster Flying Arrows (Lancaster, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Iowa-Grant will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Flying Arrows come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 50-46 non-league win over New Glarus (New Glarus, WI).
