The Cuba City Cubans basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Iowa-Grant Panthers to 30 in the Cubans league triumph on Thursday.

The Cubans now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Galena for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Cuba City will confront a Pirates team coming off a 52-46 non-league loss to Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Iowa-Grant falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host New Glarus (New Glarus, WI) to confront the Glarner Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Glarner Knights go into the game with a record of 3-2. New Glarus won 60-30 in their recent non-league game against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI)
