The Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) basketball crushed the host Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA), 61-23 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 17-0 record. They play next when they travel to Tiftarea Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Terrell Academy will play a Panthers team coming off a 49-22 league loss to Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, Deerfield-Windsor falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Knights host Westfield School (Perry, GA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Westfield School won 40-17 in their recent league bout against Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA)
