The Terrell Academy Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights to 28 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to Citizens Christian Academy for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Terrell Academy will confront a Patriots team coming off a 57-24 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Deerfield-Windsor falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Valwood (Valdosta, GA) to confront the Valiants in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 game on Friday, January 10. The Valiants go into the game with a record of 3-7. Valwood lost 51-15 in their recent league game against Brookwood (Thomasville, GA)
