In Friday's league test, the Henderson Collegiate Pride (Henderson, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC), by a score of 39-27.
Next, the Pride encounter the Eno River Academy Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) in a 1A Triangle North test, on Tuesday, January 28. Henderson Collegiate will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 6-10 record after their 41-24 league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC).
The Flying Lions (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Cristo Rey Research Triangle (Durham, NC). The Bulls come into the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Cristo Rey Research Triangle beat Carolina Friends (Durham, NC), 22-20, in a league test.
