In Friday's non-league contest, the host Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored a good 73-57 triumph over the Lourdes Eagles.

The Wildcats (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Lake City was topped by Stewartville (Stewartville, MN), 70-60, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Austin Packers (Austin, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Lourdes will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Packers go into the contest with a 15-3 record after their 71-58 non-league win over John Marshall (Rochester, MN).
