Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) backers went home pleased Monday as they observed their basketball team overcome the host Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN), 70-53 in a non-league contest.

The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Bombers come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Cannon Falls was topped by Stewartville (Stewartville, MN), 64-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Lourdes will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Komets come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 61-51 league loss to Austin (Austin, MN).
