Oregon High School Basketball - Grant Union crushes Irrigon

The Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) basketball crushed the host Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), 48-21 in Friday's league bout.
The Prospectors now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie City for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Grant Union will play a Panthers team coming off a 46-22 non-league loss to Elgin (Elgin, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Irrigon falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Knights host Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR) to play the TigerScots in a 2A Blue Mountain bout on Friday, January 31. The TigerScots go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Weston-McEwen won 49-30 in their recent non-league bout against South Wasco County (Maupin, OR)
