Oregon High School Basketball - Grant Union knocks off Irrigon

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) and the visiting Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), observed Grant Union's basketball team overcome Irrigon by a score of 50-36.
The Prospectors (10-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Knights come into the 2A Blue Mountain challenge with a 3-16 record. In their last challenge, Irrigon dropped by Grant Union (John Day, OR), 48-21, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Irrigon will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record.
