The Jefferson County Tigers basketball squad (Fayette, MS), was nudged 43-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS)
With the victory, South Pike advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Eagles host Wesson (Wesson, MS) to meet the Cobras in a 3A Region 7 battle on Monday, January 27. The Cobras enter the battle with a record of 12-11. Wesson won 36-27 in their recent league battle against Franklin County (Meadville, MS)
The Tigers now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a 3A Region 7 battle on Friday, January 31.
