In Tuesday's league test, the South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) basketball squad trounced the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS), by a final score of 51-20.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) in a 3A Region 7 test, on Friday, January 10. South Pike will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 45-38 league win over Wesson (Wesson, MS).

The Tigers (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Franklin County (Meadville, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 7 test with a 6-9 record.
