California High School Basketball - Sheldon can't get by Laguna Creek

The Sheldon Huskies basketball squad (Sacramento, CA), was nudged 79-75 in Friday's league battle with the host Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA)

With the victory, Laguna Creek advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a Delta League battle on Monday, January 27. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 2-16. Franklin lost 61-29 in their recent league battle against Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA)

The Huskies now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk Grove for a Delta League battle on Monday, January 27. Sheldon will meet a Thundering Herd squad coming off a 48-14 league loss to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 5-11.
