The Trojans (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Kemper County edged Noxubee County (Macon, MS), 72-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gators encounter the Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Leake Central will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 57-47 league win over Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS).
