The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) and the visiting Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL), observed Shelby County's basketball team overwhelm Montevallo by a score of 63-17.

The Wildcats (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL). The Aggies come into the 5A Area 8 challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Sylacauga was routed by Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL), 46-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Montevallo will attempt to improve on its 1-22 season record.
