The Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights to 48 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now have a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Red Rock Central for a A Section 3 game on Thursday, January 30. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will confront a Falcons team coming off a 75-28 league loss to Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 0-22.

With the loss, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Knights host St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Knights go into the game with a record of 16-0. St. Mary's won 67-28 in their recent league game against Springfield (Springfield, MN)
