In Friday's league outing, the visiting Mansfield Summit Jaguars soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Seguin Cougars.

The Jaguars (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Spartans enter the 5A Region 1 District 8 outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Centennial tipped Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 8 outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Seguin will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 2-6 record after their 6-0 league loss to Burleson (Burleson, TX).
