California High School Basketball - Silver Creek holds off Independence

The Silver Creek Raiders basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Independence 76ers to 42 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now have a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Leland for a challenge on Friday, January 31. Silver Creek will battle a Chargers team coming off a 75-43 league win over Lincoln (San Jose, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 13-7.
In their next game, the 76ers battle the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Independence will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 57-53 league loss to Leland (San Jose, CA).
