Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), 51-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Silver Creek advances its record to 6-9 on the year.
The 76ers now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Hills for a match on Friday, February 14. Independence will face a Pirates squad coming off a 60-44 league win over Leland (San Jose, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 17-4.
