Fans at Friday's league battle between the New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) and the host Sealy Tigers (Sealy, TX), saw New Waverly's soccer squad hold off Sealy by a count of 4-3.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Bobcats enter the 4A Region 3 District 20 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Hempstead was edged by Royal (Brookshire, TX), 6-1, in a league battle.
