The Lehighton Indian basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Pine Grove Cardinals to 39 in the Indian league victory on Tuesday.
The Indian now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tamaqua for a Schuylkill County 1 contest on Friday, January 28. Lehighton will battle a Blue Raiders team coming off a 66-36 league loss to Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 6-11.
The Cardinals (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Olympians come into the Schuylkill County 1 contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Jim Thorpe edged Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA), 66-36, in a league contest.
