Texas High School Basketball - Vega topples Boys Ranch

In Wednesday's league outing, the Vega Longhorns (Vega, TX) basketball squad beat the host Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX), by a margin of 53-43.

The Longhorns (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Highland Park (Amarillo, TX). The Hornets go into the 2A Region I District 3 outing with a 11-13 record. In their last outing, Highland Park was topped by Bovina (Bovina, TX), 61-56, in a league outing.

The Roughriders now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Panhandle for a 2A Region I District 3 outing on Friday, January 27. Boys Ranch will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 54-41 league loss to Farwell (Farwell, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 15-6.
