Texas High School Basketball - Boys Ranch overwhelmed by Vega

The Vega Longhorns basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Boys Ranch Roughriders to 40 in the Longhorns league victory on Friday.

The Longhorns now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Park for a 2A Region I District 3 contest on Monday, February 13.

The Roughriders (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Panthers come into the 2A Region I District 3 contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Panhandle was routed by Farwell (Farwell, TX), 43-40, in a league contest.
