In Wednesday's league match, the host Chopticon Braves basketball team scored a good 51-43 triumph over the Calvert Cavaliers.
In their next game, the Braves meet the Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Friday, January 27. Chopticon will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 9-6 record after their 67-65 league win over La Plata (La Plata, MD).
With the defeat, Calvert moves to 1-12 on the year. The Cavaliers host Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to meet the Chargers in a Southern Maryland match on Friday, January 27. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 5-8. Lackey lost 73-68 in their recent league match against North Point (Waldorf, MD)
