Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 57-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Chopticon upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Braves host Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Leonardtown won 59-25 in their recent league bout against Patuxent (Lusby, MD)

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Friday, January 6. Calvert will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
