The Cornell Raiders basketball team (Coraopolis, PA), was overwhelmed 74-34 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA)

The Scotties now possess a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cornell for a WPIAL 1A 1 battle on Tuesday, January 31.

The Raiders (1-15) will now prepare for their battle against Rochester (Rochester, PA). The Rams come into the WPIAL 1A 1 battle with a 6-8 record.
