Northeast Eagles (Clarksville, TN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Springfield Yellow Jackets (Springfield, TN), 63-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Northeast upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Eagles host Whites Creek (Whites Creek, TN) to clash with the Cobras in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Cobras go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Whites Creek won 62-52 in their recent league bout against RePublic (Nashville, TN)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Trousdale County Yellowjackets (Hartsville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 60-46 league loss to East Robertson (Cross Plains, TN).
