The Northeast Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Springfield Yellow Jackets to 34 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Creek for a 4A District 13 match on Tuesday, February 7. Northeast will meet a Coyote team coming off a 68-63 league win over Northwest (Clarksville, TN). The Coyote record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, Springfield moves to 6-14 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Clarksville (Clarksville, TN) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A District 13 match on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-20. Clarksville lost 61-44 in their recent non-league match against Henry County (Paris, TN)
