The East Rutherford Cavaliers basketball team (Forest City, NC), was overwhelmed 71-47 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC)
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherryville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Burns will battle a Ironmen team coming off a 68-57 non-league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 8-8.
The Cavaliers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Patton trounced Polk County (Columbus, NC), 59-49, in a non-league battle.
