The East Rutherford Cavaliers basketball team (Forest City, NC), was toppled 54-35 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC)
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to R-S Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. Burns will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 44-32 non-league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-3.
The Cavaliers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Piedmont Community Charter beat Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC), 47-44, in a non-league battle.
