The Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ), 48-38 in Thursday's league test.

The Indians (13-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ). The Hermits go into the non-league test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, St. Augustine Prep notched a victory over St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ), 55-47, in a league test.

The Chiefs now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ewing for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Cherokee will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 65-47 non-league loss to Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-4.
