The Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ), 49-39 in Thursday's league test.
The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Ewing notched a victory over Allentown (Allentown, NJ), 61-58, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Penns Grove for a non-league test on Saturday, December 23. Cherokee will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 69-56 non-league win over Salem County Vo-Tech (Woodstown, NJ). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-2.
