The Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM), 84-57 in Thursday's league battle.
The Rams now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roy/Mosquero for a A District 5 battle on Saturday, January 27. Cimarron will confront a Longhorn team coming off a 65-56 league loss to Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Longhorn record now stands at 8-8.
The Red Devils (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Maxwell (Maxwell, NM). The Bears come into the A District 5 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Maxwell trounced Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM), 79-44, in a league battle.
