Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM), 61-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Cimarron upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Rams host Des Moines (Des Moines, NM) to play the Demons in a A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 18-3. Des Moines won 77-47 in their recent league bout against Springer (Springer, NM)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) in a A District 5 bout, on Thursday, February 15. Springer will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record.
