Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 53-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Park upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Lancers host Larkin (Elgin, IL) to clash with the Royals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 4-19. Larkin lost 75-29 in their recent league bout against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 64-59 league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
