Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 53-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Park upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Lancers host St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to play the Fighting Saints in a DuKane bout on Saturday, December 9. The Fighting Saints go into the bout with a record of 3-4. St. Charles East lost 39-30 in their recent league bout against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Saturday, December 9. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 59-56 league win over Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
