In Thursday's league outing, the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), by a count of 72-55.

The Knights (15-8) will now prepare for their outing against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes go into the 5A San Tan outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, Campo Verde defeated Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ), 66-40, in a league outing.
